Time to say goodbye! As I grew older I decided it has become time to move forward. Of course I will still be online to talk and share fashion with you guys, just in a different frame. So say hello to my new blog:
as you have probably realized I have been away for a REALLY long time. The reason? I am graduating from the german form of High School right now and all the test and learning kept me off writing for the blog. But now I am almost finished and as the weather gets better I am so in the mood to wear all my new dresses, skirts and colorful jewelry.
The trend for this spring? Flowers, flowers, flowers. Just put on a floral dress or shirt and the whole outfit looks so fashionable. More on the on my next post. So far my other favorite trend, colored statement necklaces. Can spring get anymore beautiful?
As I already told You I was in Switzerland past week. And how could a stay there be complete without a trip to the beautiful Zürich? I really love that city - great shops (Trois Pommes!), great architecture and great food. After walking around on the Shopping Mile (Bahnhofstraße) and in the lower part of the city we met with my uncle for a Apero in a very classy bar and then had some delicious mexican food. Furthermore I got some really cool new clothes which I am so eager to share with You.
Due to it was quite cold there I choose to wear my beloved mink fur. I know, I know, poor little minks but those furs are just so cosy, warm and most of all stylish that I honestly could not live without them. And as Anna Wintour once said "There is always a way to wear fur... Personally I have it on my back!"
As I am a huge fan of skiing I again went to the South this year to visit Switzerland's beautiful mountains. All I can say is that it was incredible. The clean air, the snow, the sun - everything was just perfect. Again I had some "Äpplermagronen" and if you guys ever go skiing in Switzerland make sure to try it. Honestly, it is so delicious!
My idol and inspiration Madonna too spent her holidays in Switzerland and although she stayed in Gstaad, which is about 200 kilometers from Zürich, I could take some inspiration from her and stole her line.
Due to I have been listening to not a lot more than "Wounderful Dream" by Melanie Thornton this Winter I have not come up with a Winter 2013/14 list yet but I promise it will be uploaded soon!
2013 is officially Past now! Personally I choose to celebrate the New Year's Eve with my Family instead of hotting a big Party this Year because I felt like this is probably the last year I am living at home so I wanted to spent that night surrounded by the people I love.
As one of my First looks for 2014 I choose to do something rocky as You will see in the pictures below. I know that black kind of is the color I always end up wearing but I think it's just always quite appropriate. One of my New Year's resolutions: Wear a little more colorful clothes! Really, I need to change that.
Although there hasn't been any snow in Germany the Holidays once again have come and gone. Here we do not celebrate Christmas on the 25th of December but on the 24th. The pictures below were taken Christmas Night, I am wearing a black Mango dress with a belt like golden stitching around the waist which definitely is one of my favorite pieces right now. I choose to combine it with some shoes I got in New York, thick tights, and golden jewelry. My watch is a heritage piece from my Family, just as the ring which was a present from my Mum. The hair band is from H&M and the earrings were lent to me by my incredible sister who also took the pictures. The 25th was pretty much about sleeping and eating because most of the people in my Family are either living too far away or went on Holiday so we were pretty much alone. For Christmas I got a new Camera and some more stuff that will be visible in the following Outfit posts. Stay tuned for more!
Hello Everybody, as many of you know I am a huge fan of Kristina Bazan a.k.a. Kayture. She has the most amazing Fashion Blog ( www.Kayture.com ), an incredible sense of taste and a gorgeous boyfriend taking her pictures. If you haven't checked out her blog yet you definitely should!
As I will have my graduation Prom ("Abiball") by the beginning of July I am already looking for a dress. By reading Kristina's Blog I saw the most beautiful dress so far and she wrote it was from a british Brand named "Virgos Lounge" (awesome clothes in general by the way) but I just wasn't able to find that dress in any of their collections. So if any of you knows where to find that dress please contact me!
Except for me looking for the dress I think that Kristina looked unbelievably beautiful as she wore that dress to the AMFA Gala in Mumbai, so I wanted to share that with you.
Of course I do not own the rights and do not want to use them in a commercial way but only to promote Kayture.com
